The Process
In order to ready a property for an open house, Deirdre starts the process with a home consultation during which she will assess, make recommendations and help both Sellers and Real Estate Sales Professionals begin the process of transforming the home into a market-ready property. At the end of the consultation visit, the home seller will be prepared with a room-by-room action plan and checklist of priorities.
The home seller will then decide whether they will implement these recommendations themselves or have Merrow Staging & Design handle the process for them, or a combination of both. Sellers typically entrust Deirdre to style the entire property, a service which includes sourcing furnishings and materials, color and finish consultation and referrals to trusted partner vendors and consultants.
Consultation rates are $325 for up to two (2) hours and $165 for each additional hour. The consultation is a hands-on experience: together we will walk through your home top to bottom and at the end we will have an action plan and a checklist of priorities. Depending on your needs and next steps, I can provide the actual staging as well as color consultation, decor shopping, professional home organizing and a range of other supplementary services.
